Chichibu – Ichiro's Malt The Peated is a single malt whisky from Chichibu (Japan). Bottled at 53.50% ABV, 70cl. This is the 2022 release of Chichibu The Peated, produced from heavily-peated malt and bottled at cask strength. A single malt whisky distillery in Japan, located within the city of the same name in the Saitama Prefecture. It was established in 2008 by Ichiro Akuto and significantly expanded in 2019 with the opening of a second distillery called Chichibu 2.
