Chita – 2009 SMWS 4 Year Old G13.1 - 'A complete revelation' is a single grain whisky from Chita (Japan). Aged 4 years, bottled at 58.30% ABV, 70cl. Matured in virgin oak puncheon. A grain whisky distillery located in the eponymous town of Japan's Aichi Prefecture. It was opened in 1972 by Suntory, who moved its previous grain whisky production from Yamazaki in the process. Although primarily tasked with the provision of Suntory blends, a Chita brand was launched in 2015.
