Coleburn – 1981 Connoisseurs Choice is a single malt whisky from Coleburn (Speyside). Bottled at 43.00% ABV, 70cl. Matured in refill Sherry Hogshead.
A lesser-known Speyside distillery that spent most of its life providing fillings for blended Scotch brands. Established in 1897, it was acquired by the Distillers Company in 1925 an closed by them sixty years later. Its warehouses are now the operational home of Aceo Spirits and Murray McDavid.
