Compass Box x Brewdog Distilling Co Transistor Scotch Whisky is a blended whisky (Scotland). Bottled at 43% ABV, 70cl. Matured in first-fill American oak barrels.
A collaboration between Compass Box and Scottish craft-brewers BrewDog, this is a blended Scotch matured in a high proportion of first-fill American oak barrels and a malt content finished in French oak hybrid casks.
Released in 2019, Transistor was part of the Boilermaker series and intended to be the perfect accompaniment to Punk IPA, Brewdog's flagship beer.
