The Cotswolds are world renowned for their beauty so what a place to have a distillery. Founded in 2014 by a wealthy retired broker with its first single malt being released in 2017. The Private bottling company Waxhouse Whisky Co. acquired a cask of first fill STR and bottled this 4 year old (1 month shy of being a 5 year old) whisky for us in a designer's bottle. Once opened the aroma of red fruits, vanilla and oak come through, and the palate is maple syrup, cherries, vanilla and pepper with a long finish of rye, vanilla and oak.
