Glen Moray – 1962 42 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Glen Moray (Speyside). Aged 42 years, bottled at 50.90% ABV, 70cl. This vintage Glen Moray was distilled on 2nd November 1962 and bottled on 23rd February 2005. Each bottle in the original presentation was packaged with a matching 5cl miniature. A Speyside malt distillery that was originally built as a brewery in 1828 before converting to whisky production in 1897. It was an important part of the Macdonald & Muir portfolio in the 20th century, however as of 2008 has been owned by the La Martinquaise division of COFEPP in France.
