The French group La Martiniquaise which also owns the Glen Moray Distillery and the Starlaw grain distillery today, established Glen Turner in 1981 to oversee its new whisky operations at the time. They had no idea what size they would eventually grow to become. Aromas of apples, oats and gooseberries, the palate is aniseed, white pepper and oats with a short finish of oak, vanilla and white pepper.
