Glenallachie – Past Edition 16 Year Old - Billy Walker 50th Anniversary is a single malt whisky from Glenallachie (Speyside). Aged 16 years, bottled at 57.10% ABV, 70cl. Matured in 9 x sherry butts.
Released in May 2022, this is the first edition in the Past, Present and Future series which commemorated Billy Walker's 50th year in the Scotch whisky industry. This 16-year-old was matured in nine sherry butts and bottled in February 2022.
A Speyside malt distillery located in the town after which it is named. It was built in 1967 by Mackinlay-McPherson and was traded around several notable distilling companies before being sold to Billy Walker in 2017. Under current ownership, its single malt has emerged as well-respected brand.
