Glenburgie – 15 Year Old Ballantine's Series No.1 is a single malt whisky from Glenburgie (Speyside). Aged 15 years, bottled at 40.00% ABV, 70cl.
This is one of a trio of this age-statement released in 2017, showcasing the single malts key to the Ballantine's blends. The others were a Glentauchers and a Miltonduff.
A Speyside malt distillery that is owned by the Chivas Brothers division of Pernod Ricard. Since first acquired by Hiram Walker in 1930, the distillery has been essential to the Ballantine's blends and very little of its production has ever been spared for bottling as single malt.
