Glenburgie – 2009 Thompson Bros 17 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Glenburgie (Speyside). Aged 17 years, bottled at 53.70% ABV, 70cl. Matured in first-fill bourbon barrels.
A Speyside malt distillery that is owned by the Chivas Brothers division of Pernod Ricard. Since first acquired by Hiram Walker in 1930, the distillery has been essential to the Ballantine's blends and very little of its production has ever been spared for bottling as single malt.
