Glenfarclas – 1954 Pagoda Ruby Reserve 62 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Glenfarclas (Speyside). Aged 62 years, bottled at 44.8% ABV, 70cl. Matured in sherry cask.
This impressive 62-year-old single malt was distilled in 1954 and aged in sherry cask #445. Of the 180 pagoda-shaped decanters, 50 were presented in a special glass display case with a flight-case is also included.
Considered among the finest of the Speyside malt distilleries and one of the few of its age to still be family-owned. J&G Grant became its sole shareholders in 1898 and continue to run it in a traditional manner, notably using direct-fired stills to create a rich, weighty spirit.
