Glenfarclas – 40 Year Old 2016 Edition is a single malt whisky from Glenfarclas (Speyside). Aged 40 years, bottled at 43.30% ABV, 70cl. Produced exclusively for Taiwan between 2014 and 2017, this series of 40-year-old Glenfarclas is notable for its distinctive labels, which showcase Taiwan’s national trees and flowers, making each release both a collectible and a celebration of Taiwanese culture. Considered among the finest of the Speyside malt distilleries and one of the few of its age to still be family-owned. J&G Grant became its sole shareholders in 1898 and continue to run it in a traditional manner, notably using direct-fired stills to create a rich, weighty spirit.
