William Grant's fascination with Single Malt Scotch Whisky drove him to build the Glenfiddich Distillery in 1887. His desire to excel and bring out the finest qualities in his whisky led him to lay down stocks of single malt Scotch Whisky, specifically allowing them to attain great ages. As a result of his foresight, his descendants have inherited an unparalleled collection of Glenfiddich Vintages and continue to lay down whisky stock to be sampled and enjoyed by their heirs. This cask-strength Glenfiddich distillery exclusive was matured for 15 years before being bottled at 58% ABV from batch 32 and bottled in 2015.
