Glenfiddich – 18 Year Old Small Batch Reserve is a whisky from Glenfiddich (Speyside). Aged 18 years, bottled at 40% ABV, 70cl. Still owned by the Grant family today, the pioneering distillery is responsible for plenty of “firsts” in whisky world. Perhaps most importantly, they were the first to really promote the idea of drinking whisky as a single malt as opposed to in blends. They were also the first distillery to open their doors to the public, sparking a trend that has undoubtedly benefited the Scottish tourist industry greatly. Boasting a solid core range of expressions that are easily accessible to whisky newcomers, yet have layers of complexity that appeal to seasoned connoisseurs alike. There’s a reason Glenfiddich is numero uno! Produced in small batches, the 18 Year Old combines Spanish Oloroso with traditional American bourbon casks.
