Glenfiddich – Project XX - Experimental Series #02 is a single malt whisky from Glenfiddich (Speyside). Bottled at 47.00% ABV, 70cl. Introduced in 2016, this is the second entry in the Glenfiddich experimental series. Twenty experts each selected 20 casks, without being informed of the reason, following which master blender Brian Kinsman combined them to create this marriage. The mix is wide and different including port pipes, sherry casks and even some virgin oak. A malt distillery in Speyside that distilled its first spirit on Christmas day in 1887 and has remained family-owned by William Grant & Sons ever since. The company was the first to make a single malt brand its flagship product and Glenfiddich was also the first distillery to open to the public.
