Glengoyne sits on the line between Lowland and Highland regions of whisky. It is very unique because the spirit distills in the highlands region but matures and ages in the lowlands region across the road so it is a marriage of the two. The 15 year old Glengoyne has made ripples and is quite a tasteful dram. The aromas are vanila, summer fruits, honey and straw, the palate is complex with cinnamon, ginger, vanilla, cream, walnuts and coffee with a long finish of milk chocolate, lemon cake and cinnamon.
