Glenlivet – Code is a single malt whisky from Glenlivet (Speyside). Bottled at 48.00% ABV, 70cl. The Glenlivet Code is the 2018 follow-up to the Alpha and Cipher releases of 2013 and 2016, respectively. Once again the concept was to deny purchasers any information regarding the age and maturation of the whiskies, promoting discussion between those who were able to sample one of the 33,000 bottles. One of the best-known names in Speyside, the distillery was founded in 1859 by George Smith and remained family-owned until the 1970s when acquired by Seagram. It is today the crown jewel of the Pernod Ricard portfolio and one of the best-selling single malt brands globally.
