Hanyu – 2000 Ichiro's Malt Card Series - Six of Diamonds is a single malt whisky from Hanyu (Japan). Bottled at 60.00% ABV, 70cl. Matured in fresh bourbon barrel finish.
Distilled in 2000 and bottled in 2007 from cask #9410. This was first matured in a hogshead before being re-racked into a fresh bourbon barrel for a second maturation period.
A Japanese malt distillery located in the town of the same name. It developed immense collectable status following its closure 2000 after the famous "Card" series was bottled by Ichiro's Malt. Believed to be lost forever, its former owners rebuilt it and distilling commenced again in 2021.
