Johnnie Walker – 1820 50 Years Of Diageo In Kilmarnock is a whisky from Johnnie Walker (Speyside). Bottled at 40% ABV, 70cl. With its distinctive square bottle, its label angled precisely at 24° and the iconic Striding Man, Johnnie Walker is the world’s best selling Scotch whisky retailing more than 20 million cases a year. It was first created in Kilmarnock in 1865 and is now available in almost every country in the world with the establishment of significant ‘Houses’ across Asia. Between 1906 & 1909 John Walker’s grandsons introduced the colour names which the bottles still bear to this day with the Blue Label - introduced in 1992 - being the rarest. This rare engraved glass decanter, containing a very rare blend known as the “Johnnie Walker 1820 Blend”, was presented to employees of Diageo to mark the 50th year of manufacturing at Hill Street, Kilmarnock.
