Kilchoman – Inaugural Release is a single malt whisky from Kilchoman (Islay). Aged 3 years, bottled at 46.00% ABV, 70cl. Matured in oloroso sherry cask finish.
The first ever bottling of Kilchoman as a single malt, this Inaugural Release was aged for 3 years in Buffalo Trace bourbon casks before being finished for 6 months in oloroso sherry casks.
An Islay malt distillery that was the first new distillery on the island for 124 years when it opened in 2005. Founded by the Wills family, the distillery saw a return of the practice of “farm distilling” to Islay as it used its own barely fields, malt floors and kilns.
