Description
A Piece of Islay Heritage, Reimagined
Bring the bold spirit of Scotland’s most legendary peat-smoke distillery to your walls. This premium barrel stave sign spent decades cradling single malt whisky at the iconic Lagavulin Distillery on the coast of Islay. Crafted from a genuine oak cask distilled in 1997 (Cask No. 3196), it has been beautifully upcycled in our independent workshop on the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond, preserving its rich history while turning it into a timeless piece of rustic wall art.
Natural Character & Tactile Patina
Run your fingers across the curved surface and you can feel the true patina of time. Decades of barrel ageing have left their mark on the historic oak, creating deep char lines, rich honey tones, and honest imperfections. Each stave is carefully hand-sanded and sealed to protect the wood while ensuring the original distillery branding and vintage stamps remain crisp and display-ready.
Create an Instant Atmosphere
The distinct, natural curve of the original cask stave gives this sign an eye-catching, three-dimensional profile on your wall. It serves as an instant conversation starter and a perfect nod to Islay’s famous smoky drams. It looks right at home when displayed:
Above a home bar, drinks cart, or tasting station
As a rugged focal piece in a man cave or office
Adding warmth to a cozy kitchen or dining space
It makes a spectacular, thoughtful gift for Father’s Day, housewarmings, or milestone birthdays—especially for any dedicated collector of classic Islay malts.
