Laphroaig – 15 Year Old 200th Anniversary is a single malt whisky from Laphroaig (Islay). Aged 15 years, bottled at 43.00% ABV, 70cl.
First launched in 1984, this particular age statement was said to be King Charles III's favourite. It was replaced in the core range by an 18-year-old expression in 2009.
This is the 2015 limited edition revival of the expression, bottled to celebrate the distillery's 200th anniversary.
A world-renowned Islay distillery, famous for its distinctive character of its heavily peated spirit and it has one of the longest-serving single malt brands. It was built in 1815 by Alexander and Donald Johnston and is today owned by Suntory Holdings through its Beam Suntory division.
