Laphroaig – 18 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Laphroaig (Islay). Aged 18 years, bottled at 48.00% ABV, 70cl.
Originally launched in 2009, this was released as a replacement for the much-loved 15-year-old. It was eventually discontinued in 2016 and an 18-year-old expression was unavailable until revived in 2024 when the distillery rebranded its core range.
A world-renowned Islay distillery, famous for its distinctive character of its heavily peated spirit and it has one of the longest-serving single malt brands. It was built in 1815 by Alexander and Donald Johnston and is today owned by Suntory Holdings through its Beam Suntory division.
