Laphroaig – Càirdeas Ileach Edition is a single malt whisky from Laphroaig (Islay). Bottled at 50.5% ABV, 70cl. Matured in ex-Maker's Mark bourbon casks.
This particular Cairdeas is named the Ileach Edition to honour John Campbell attaining the position of Master Distiller, the first Islay native to hold this position at Laphroaig.
A world-renowned Islay distillery, famous for its distinctive character of its heavily peated spirit and it has one of the longest-serving single malt brands. It was built in 1815 by Alexander and Donald Johnston and is today owned by Suntory Holdings through its Beam Suntory division.
