Laphroaig – Cairdeas Madeira Cask is a single malt whisky from Laphroaig (Islay). Bottled at 51.6% ABV, 70cl. Matured in madeira cask finish.
The 2016 Cairdeas was initially matured in bourbon casks, then in Madeira-seasoned hogsheads.
A world-renowned Islay distillery, famous for its distinctive character of its heavily peated spirit and it has one of the longest-serving single malt brands. It was built in 1815 by Alexander and Donald Johnston and is today owned by Suntory Holdings through its Beam Suntory division.
