Laphroaig – Elements L 1.0 is a single malt whisky from Laphroaig (Islay). Bottled at 58.60% ABV, 70cl. Matured in bourbon casks. The Elements 1.0 was a 2023 release, and the first in Laphroaig's Elements series, described as 'A series of surprising whiskies revealing new dimensions of Laphroaig'. L1.0 focuses on the early stages of whisky production, utilising a combination of cloudy and semi-cloudy wort produced in an 8.5 and 11 tonne mash tun. A world-renowned Islay distillery, famous for its distinctive character of its heavily peated spirit and it has one of the longest-serving single malt brands. It was built in 1815 by Alexander and Donald Johnston and is today owned by Suntory Holdings through its Beam Suntory division.
