Linkwood – 12 Year Old - 1970s (26 2/3 Fl Ozs) is a single malt whisky from Linkwood (Speyside). Aged 12 years, bottled at 70% ABV, 262/3FlOzs. Founded in 1821 in Elgin, Linkwood has long been admired for its elegant, fragrant, and fruity Speyside spirit. Known for long fermentation and careful distillation, Linkwood is prized by blenders, especially within Diageo's portfolio. The site expanded in 1971 with a modern second distillery building, producing spirit that was vatted with the original until recent changes. Official bottlings are limited, but the Flora & Fauna 12-year-old is highly regarded. Independent bottlings often showcase floral, apple, and honeyed notes. This Highland malt has been maturing for over 12 years at the Linkwood distillery It was produced for 'John McEwan & Co' which was in Leith Scotland.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
