Macallan – 10 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Macallan (Speyside). Aged 10 years, bottled at 40.00% ABV, 70cl. Matured in sherry casks. When Macallan assumed the responsibility for bottling its own brand from Campbell, Hope & King in 1980, they inherited an 8-, 10- and 12-year-old age statement release. This 10-year-old was a popular edition for many years but was eventually discontinued in 2013. Crown jewel of the Edrington Group and one of the best-known names in single malt Scotch, made famous by the legendary status of much of the whisky it has produced over the years, including its Fine & Rare series, Anniversary malts and flagship annual 18-year-old release.
