Macallan – 12 Year Old Triple Cask Matured is a single malt whisky from Macallan (Speyside). Aged 12 years, bottled at 40.00% ABV, 70cl. Matured in bourbon & sherry casks. The Macallan Triple Cask Matured range was a mixture of European and American oak casks that have previously contained sherry, as well as American oak casks which have contained bourbon. The line was introduced in 2004 as the Fine Oak, but was rebranded as the Triple Cask Matured in 2018 in order to streamline it with the distillery's Sherry Oak Cask and Double Cask lines of the core range. Crown jewel of the Edrington Group and one of the best-known names in single malt Scotch, made famous by the legendary status of much of the whisky it has produced over the years, including its Fine & Rare series, Anniversary malts and flagship annual 18-year-old release.
