Macallan – 1984 15 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Macallan (Speyside). Aged 15 years, bottled at 43.00% ABV, 70cl. Matured in sherry casks. Although the 18-year-old is most synonymous with the Macallan brand, this short-lived vintage 15-year-old is another sought-after and highly regarded whisky. The expression was introduced alongside a new label and packaging design for the 18-year-old in 1999, but disappeared again shortly after. Only two vintages were ever bottled, this and the 1985. Crown jewel of the Edrington Group and one of the best-known names in single malt Scotch, made famous by the legendary status of much of the whisky it has produced over the years, including its Fine & Rare series, Anniversary malts and flagship annual 18-year-old release. Condition: Box: rust staining on interior base of tube. Box top edge shows wear and creasing.
