Macallan – 8 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Macallan (Speyside). Aged 8 years, bottled at 43.00% ABV, 75cl. Matured in sherry casks. This is an old version of the Macallan 8-year-old, bottled under license in the 1970s by Campbell, Hope & King in Elgin. From 1980 onwards the distillery assumed responsibility for the bottling itself, retaining this age statement until the mid-1980s. Crown jewel of the Edrington Group and one of the best-known names in single malt Scotch, made famous by the legendary status of much of the whisky it has produced over the years, including its Fine & Rare series, Anniversary malts and flagship annual 18-year-old release. Condition: Capsule torn and partially detached. Label toned and age-worn.
