Macallan – Harmony Collection Smooth Arabica is a whisky from Macallan (Speyside). Bottled at 40% ABV, 70cl. The Macallan distillery was founded in 1824 by Alexander Reid, a barley farmer and school teacher. Now owned by the Edrington Group, The Macallan prides itself on its Six Pillars, which include its curiously small stills, very narrow ‘cut’ of new make spirit and exceptional cask management. It is the most sought after whisky for collectors. A new £140 million subterranean distillery and visitor centre on the Easter Elchies estate was opened to the public in the summer of 2018 and has since won several awards for its architectural quality; with its exciting features including glass walls of vintage whiskies, a circular pod of copper pot stills, and a Boutique reflecting those in Dubai and Heathrow airports. The Harmony Collection: Smooth Arabica The Second Edition, Smooth Arabica was created by The Macallan Whisky Maker Steven Bremner, who immersed himself in the art of coffee. Using Yirgacheffe and Limu coffee beans he hosted a masterclass with world-renowned coffee masters at The Macallan Estate, exploring the process from field to cup and uncovering the unique process and distinct flavour profiles of the beans at each stage. Travel Exclusive Edition: Second Edition Please be aware, due to their design, the bottle support for Macallan Harmony boxes is easily deformed and/or detached.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
