Macallan – Rare Cask Black is a single malt whisky from Macallan (Speyside). Bottled at 48.00% ABV, 70cl. Matured in american & European oak sherry casks. The Rare Cask is a small batch release of less than 100 casks, predominantly first-fill sherry casks of European and American oak. This Black release includes casks containing unusually peated Macallan spirit. Crown jewel of the Edrington Group and one of the best-known names in single malt Scotch, made famous by the legendary status of much of the whisky it has produced over the years, including its Fine & Rare series, Anniversary malts and flagship annual 18-year-old release.
