Macallan – The Archival Series Folio 2 is a single malt whisky from Macallan (Speyside). Aged 12 years, bottled at 43.00% ABV, 70cl. Matured in sherry casks. The second in a range of whiskies recreating the old advertising styles of Macallan, the front image is a watercolour image from Artist Sara Midda, who's works are synonymous with Macallan of the 1990s and early 2000s. Though not stated on the packaging, the distillery staff confirmed that the liquid is 12 years old, sherry cask matured and limited 2,000 bottles. Crown jewel of the Edrington Group and one of the best-known names in single malt Scotch, made famous by the legendary status of much of the whisky it has produced over the years, including its Fine & Rare series, Anniversary malts and flagship annual 18-year-old release.
