Macallan – Woodland 12 Year Old Estate Limited Edition is a single malt whisky from Macallan (Speyside). Aged 12 years, bottled at 40.00% ABV, 70cl. Matured in sherry casks.
A limited edition 12-year-old, sherry-matured Macallan originally only available to distillery visitors in 2006. There were 1,000 bottles with each one correspondingly numbered to a tree planted in the distillery grounds.
Crown jewel of the Edrington Group and one of the best-known names in single malt Scotch, made famous by the legendary status of much of the whisky it has produced over the years, including its Fine & Rare series, Anniversary malts and flagship annual 18-year-old release.
