Miyagikyo – Single Malt (70cl, 45.00%)

Miyagikyo – Single Malt is a single malt whisky from Miyagikyo (Japan). Bottled at 45.00% ABV, 70cl. The unforeseen popularity of Japanese whisky in the 21st century resulted in Nikka finding themselves understocked for their Miyagikyo core range in 2015, discontinuing all of their age-statements as a consequence. This was launched as the sole core range product, but no less well-regarded. A Japanese whisky distillery owned by the Nikka Whisky Distilling Co and the second built by Masataka Taketsuru. It primarily produces lightly- and non-peated malts and as of 1999 has also distilled malt and grain whiskies on the old Nishinomia Coffey stills.
