Mortlach – Flora & Fauna 16 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Mortlach (Speyside). Aged 16 years, bottled at 43.00% ABV, 70cl. Matured in sherry casks.
The 16-year-old Mortlach was one of the best-loved editions in the Flora & Fauna collection. One of the original releases, it was introduced in 1991 and bottled until 2013 when the line was discontinued in advance of the new Mortlach single malt brand launch the following year.
A heavyweight Speyside malt distillery that is home to Scotland's most complex distillation regime. Famously distilling its spirit 2.81 times, its whisky is synonymous with the Johnnie Walker blends and beloved as a single malt, particularly when sherry cask-aged.
