A Japanese whisky distillery owned by the Nikka Whisky Distilling Co and the second built by Masataka Taketsuru. It primarily produces lightly- and non-peated malts and as of 1999 has also distilled malt and grain whiskies on the old Nishinomia Coffey stills.
