Nikka – Six Pillars Gift Box 3 x 50cl & 3 x 70cl is a whisky from Nikka. Aged 17 years, bottled at 43% ABV, 70cl. This elegant giftbox is packed with 6 Japanese titans by Nikka including malts from Yoichi and Miyagikyo. The well designed box shows the best on the Nikka range and truly gives examples of all the best Japanese expressions on the market today. The set comes with two branded nosing glasses perfect for sharing ! ... or not ! Nikka From The Barrel This feisty blend picked up honours at the World Whisky Awards in 2007 and 2010. Deservedly so, we say. Pure Malt Coffey Grain This is the general release of the Nikka Coffey Grain, which came after the big success of the rare and limited Single Cask releases. Yoichi Taking its name from the adjacent river that also provides its water source, Takersuru’s goal with Yoichi was to create a whisky “with the taste of the wind”. We’re not sure what wind tastes like, exactly, but based on Yoichi’s direct fired stills and worm tub setup, it must be fairly robust and meaty. Miyagikyo While, like Yoichi, Miyagikyo experiments with different peating levels, the whisky produced there is lighter and more delicate, providing an interesting counterpoint to its sister distillery’s more robust style. Pure Malt 17 (Taketsuru) Perhaps Nikka’s finest blended malt. Named after the founder Masataka Taketsuru. Please note that this set contains multiple items. Additional delivery charges may be payable.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
