North of Scotland – 1972 Clan Denny 37 Year Old is a single grain whisky from North of Scotland (Lowland). Aged 37 years, bottled at 50.60% ABV, 70cl. Matured in refill hogshead. A former grain whisky producer and the first distillery venture of George P. Christie who later opened Speyside. Only short-lived, it only operated from 1958 until 1980 when Christie shut it down in anticipation of the era of oversupply known as the "whisky loch."
