Penderyn ‘Patagonia’ is a unique blended whisky commemorating the remarkable journey of Welsh settlers to Argentina in 1865. Crafted with spirit from both the Welsh Penderyn Distillery – drawing on fresh spring water and local barley – and Argentina’s first whisky distillery, La Alanaza, it represents a powerful cultural connection. Matured in a combination of American and French oak casks, this 43% ABV whisky offers a complex flavour profile reflecting its dual heritage. ‘Patagonia’ is the eleventh release in Penderyn’s Icons of Wales series, celebrating significant Welsh stories and people, and embodies a taste of both Wales and the distant lands of Patagonia.
