Pittyvaich – Flora & Fauna 12 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Pittyvaich (Speyside). Aged 12 years, bottled at 43.00% ABV, 70cl. This brief Flora & Fauna release was the only distillery bottling of Pittyvaich in its lifetime, and only a handful of limited editions have followed. A contender for shortest-lived Speyside distillery, opened by Arthur Bell & Sons in 1975 and operational only until 1993. The distillery was intended to increase provision for the company's blends but its acquisition by Guinness in 1985 eventually saw it deemed surplus to requirements.
