Port Ellen – 1983 24 Year Old Provenance is a whisky from Port Ellen (Islay). Aged 24 years, bottled at 46% ABV, 70cl. Having been in specialist and craft Scotch Whisky production for generations, Douglas Laing originally exported blends, but now carries the family name down the line by focusing on bottling exceptional single malts and grains as part of their Old Particular, Provenance and XOP ranges. They also enjoy huge success with their “Remarkable Regional Malts” range; a series of creatively named vatted malts, designed to epitomise the characteristics of Scotland’s whisky regions. Director of Malts Fred Laing believes that the provenance of a whisky’s constituent ingredients is vital in the production of something of great quality and character; therefore, the Provenance range of small batch bottlings from Douglas Laing is a sturdy portfolio of spirits from Scotland’s great distilleries. Within the range, there are ‘Young & Feisty’ bottlings and aged expressions. Port Ellen Please note fill level and minor markings on bottom of carton.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
