Serendipity 12 Year Old: Ardbeg & Glen Moray Blended Malt is a single malt whisky (Islay Speyside). Aged 12 years, bottled at 40% ABV, 70cl.
This is the serendipitous result of an accident that occurred when a batch of 12-year-old Glen Moray got mixed into a larger batch of (allegedly much older) Ardbeg - back in the day when both distilleries were owned by The Glenmorangie Company.
The composition of the blend is 20% Glen Moray and 80% Ardbeg. Released in 2005, there were 16,000 bottles made available.
