Tamdhu – Batch Strength No.001 is a single malt whisky from Tamdhu (Speyside). Bottled at 58.80% ABV, 70cl. Matured in sherry casks.
The first release of this cask strength, this has garnered a huge amount of attention for the Speyside distillery.
A Speyside malt distillery that forms part of the Ian Macleod Distillers group. Traditionally its malt was mostly used in blends such as Cutty Sark and The Famous Grouse, however since 2013 a new emphasis has been placed on its single malt brand.
