Tullibardine 1993 Sherry Wood Finish (70cl, 46%)

Tullibardine Distillery is located in Perthshire on the edge of the Scottish highlands and has a long history of distilling and brewing, as far back as the mid 15th century and employs traditional methods in its distillation process. It also has a large copper bulb shaped still which it claims gives the flavour profile a more rounded experience. Once opened the aromas of wood dust, cinnamon and cereals reach your nose, the palate is fruity, butterscotch, almonds, popcorn and chocolate, with a medium length finish of lemon, walnut and oak.
