Released with the intent for a percentage of the proceeds to go to a charity Help for Heroes which helps British servicemen and women who have been injured in the line of duty. Wolfburn is the northernmost distillery within the mainland of the British Isles. This whisky was drawn from Oloroso Sherry and Bourbon hogsheads with a turnout of 1939 bottles. The nose is sweet with strong honey, apple, and baklava. On the palate, some dried fruit, burnt oak and pepper but on the finish some hints of honey return and some peaty smoke. An interesting bottle.
