Yamazaki – Distiller's Reserve is a single malt whisky from Yamazaki (Japan). Bottled at 43.00% ABV, 70cl. Launched domestically in 2012 and to international markets in 2014, the non-age statement Yamazaki Distiller's Reserve expression includes Mizunara Japanese oak and Bordeaux wine cask-matured spirit in its blend. The oldest single malt whisky distillery in Japan, founded in 1923 by Shinjirō Torii. It is still owned by his company today, now known as Suntory, and its single malt which was bottled for the firs time in 1984 is hugely sought-after. It also provides fillings for blends such as Hibiki.
