Abhainn Dearg – 10 Year Old (70cl, 46%)

Abhainn Dearg – 10 Year Old is a whisky from Abhainn Dearg (Islands). Aged 10 years, bottled at 46% ABV, 70cl. When the spirit first flowed from the Abhainn Dearg - or Red River - Distillery in September 2008 it marked the birth of the first distillery on the island of Lewis since 1840 when the Stornoway distillery closed. Founded by Marko Tayburn, the distillery is known as the most remote whisky-producing site in Scotland and part of the building is a converted fish farm. The 10 Year Old is the oldest expression that the distillery has released, it has been fully matured in Bourbon casks. Please note minor scuffing on front label, and minor creasing/tearing on box.
