Ardbeg – 1998 Still Young (70cl, 56.2%)

Ardbeg – 1998 Still Young is a single malt whisky from Ardbeg (Islay). Bottled at 56.2% ABV, 70cl. Matured in first-fill casks. Ardbeg Still Young was distilled in 1998 and released in 2006. This was the second release on the distillery's "Path to Peaty Maturity," and followed the Very Young release in 2004. The bottlings charted progress towards the first 10-year-old whisky distilled in the Glenmorangie plc era. A distillery located on the south coast of the Isle of Islay. It is currently part of the Scotch whisky holdings of LVMH. Despite being closed twice in the latter 20th century, the distillery's heavily-peated single malt has always been highly-regarded.
